Professional Experience

Chris Holden serves as Vice President of Business Development for CBRE Government & Defense Services, where he leads enterprise growth strategy, competitive positioning and strategic capture efforts across defense and federal government clients. With more than 15 years of experience in business development, capture management and federal contracting, Chris has a proven track record of winning large-scale, mission-critical service contracts supporting U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force and three and four lettered government agencies.  

Chris joined J&J Worldwide Services in 2021, where he led the development of pipeline strategy and proposal execution across Integrated Facilities Management, Base Operations Support, Medical Facilities O & M and Support Services. His efforts have strengthened client engagement, enhanced win rates, and built a culture of competitive excellence within the Business Development team.  Chris reports to the Chief Growth Officer, Sean Thompson. 

Before joining J&J, Chris held executive business development roles at leading federal contractors, including PAE, Akima and Vectrus. As Vice President of Business Development at PAE, he led pursuits across the Global Mission Services portfolio.

Chris is a retired U.S. Army Infantry officer and West Point graduate and an Iraq and Afghanistan war veteran, bringing a leadership foundation grounded in military discipline and national security strategy. He is known for his ability to lead high-performing capture teams, foster cross-functional collaboration and drive results in both structured and fast-paced environments.

He holds a Master of Arts in Leader Development and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Mechanics from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.
